We are Imagine Goods. We exist to give empowerment through employment to those who are survivors of sex trafficking and those who are marginalized and so are vulnerable to trafficking. Our 4 main partnerships are in Cambodia, with a small partnership in Boston and in Haiti. 90% of our goods are made by survivors of trafficking — enabling these women to make a living wage and care for their families. Along with their fair pay, the women also receive free childcare, free lunch, and 1.5 hours of schooling each day. All of the workshops we partner with are run by non-profits that have the express purpose of finding marginalized or vulnerable people—many of whom are survivors of trafficking—training them in a skill, and empowering them with work. This employment is both trafficking prevention as well as survivor care. We then, are a part of their employment.
We travel to Cambodia 3 times a year to hand pick the fabrics, used in making our goods, from the local markets in Cambodia.
Brides have previously used our tablecloths and napkins for decor & our wristlets as bridemaids gifts. We have made special tags, with the name & date of the wedding, and placed them on 200 napkins — which were placed at each place setting and then used as the “favor” which was taken home at the end of the wedding. Our Kate Dresses have been used as bridesmaids dresses ordered right off the website, or special ordered with Cambodian silk. Our men’s ties would also be a great addition to any bridal party as well.
